In the broadest terms, your muscles can be classified as 1 of 2 types:
- Slow Twitch
- Fast Twitch
Slow Twitch Muscle Fibers
These muscles are not that powerful but what they lack in power they make up for in endurance.
Fast Twitch Muscle Fibers
These muscle fibers contract quickly and with a lot of power. But they fatigue quickly.
