This has to be one of the greatest recipes ever when it comes to muscle building foods…

As a kid I use to love a good homemade pizza recipe, well, and pizza for that matter.  Now that I am older and workout I love the idea of healthy pizza recipes.  I get to eat pizza and build muscle, AND burn fat all at the same time.  If you are like me and don’t think it gets any better than this then this chicken pizza recipe is for you!

When you think of muscle building foods healthy pizza recipes don’t come to mind.  But you are in for a treat today because this homemade pizza recipe is great for those on a muscle building diet. My buddy  Dave Ruel is both a bodybuilder and a great cook.  He passed this chicken pizza recipe on to me thinking I would like it, and he was right.

healthy chicken pizza recipe2 Tbsp of Perfect Spaghetti Sauce / healthy commercial spaghetti sauce. The Perfect Spaghetti Sauce can be found on page 152 of Anabolic Cooking cook book.

healthy chicken pizza recipeWhole Wheat Pita Bread

healthy chicken pizza recipe1/4 cup sliced Mushrooms

healthy chicken pizza recipe1/4 cup diced Green Pepper

healthy chicken pizza recipe1/4 cup diced Red Pepper

healthy chicken pizza recipe1/4 cup chopped onions

  1. Cook chicken separately
  2. Spread Spaghetti Sauce on one side of the Pita Bread
  3. Top with chicken and veggies
  4. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese, salt and pepper
  5. Bake in Oven at 375 Degrees F. for 15 minutes or until pita bread is crusty.
