Challenge Equals Change

challenge-yourself-to-change-your-body

I’ve been looking forward to this weekend for a while now.

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve worked with a college football team.

But I still look forward to going to the games.

Saturday was the start of football season for my Yellow Jackets.

They opened up at home to the Elon Phoenix.

An easy no risk way to start the season.

Tech easily won the game with a mind-blowing 70 – 0 victory. Setting an ACC record for margin of victory.

I’m a fan of easing into things. But you do need to challenge yourself.

I’m always happy to see them win. Unfortunately, the victory didn’t help Tech improve.

There are some tough games ahead and I just don’t see how this game helped get them ready to face some of the best teams in the nation.

Tech’s cakewalk didn’t require them to put in much effort.

No effort. No growth!

In order for there to be improvement, limits need to be tested and pushed.

The same goes with improving the way you look naked.

To get rid of the flab, tone, and build muscle. Limits need to be tested and pushed. A cakewalk won’t do much.

That’s why I’m not a big fan of the elliptical machine when it comes to body transformations.

It’s not a challenging opponent.

It can’t push you.

To let look great naked I prefer to finish a workout with quick intense burners.

They’re Short. More effective. Most importantly, they’re challenging. Forcing your body to adapt. Change. And burn body fat while allowing you to build muscle.

Challenge equals change.

Deadly Duo Countdown

Do the following two exercises in a superset fashion.

1. Alternating Lunge Jumps

2. Push-ups

  • Start by doing 10 reps for each exercise.
  • Each time you complete the superset, drop the reps by 1 for the next round. (In the first superset, you’ll complete 10 reps of each exercise.  In the next superset, you’ll complete 9 reps.)
  • Work your way all the way down to 1.
  • Rest when needed. But as little as possible.
